Game Masters for Good: A Test Website for a Fictional Non-Profit

What originally began as a simple project for my class that taught us not only to create aesthetically pleasing designs for online media forms, but also taught us to code in HTML and CSS.
The project began as a concept for a made-up non-profit organization, that we would need to make the landing page for. To start we developed style guides and an early version of a logo for our organizations. I decided to go with something I was passionate about, that being Tabletop Roleplaying Games, such as Dungeons and Dragons. This spawned the idea for my fake organization tilted: Game Masters for Good.
The central idea of the organization was to provide TTRPG experiences for individuals in hospital care, who maybe wouldn't normally have the opportunity to participate, or would be unable to due to health risks. With that in mind I went to work drafting ideas for a logo and a wireframe
Once that began, I worked towards getting my knowledge of coding up to helping me create the site. I also revised the logo a few times as well. Once I did that, I made a more formal wireframe in Adobe XD
Following those test wireframes, and some further advice from my professor at the time I drafted a mockup for what I planned to have the landing page for how my organization would look. I also drafted up what each section might say and what legally acquired images I could use within it.
Once that was achieved, I spent a lot of time working first on the formatting for the website and then went in afterwards to add CSS coding to achieve the look or at least copy the look I wanted as closely as possible to my mockup. After some trial and errror, I achieved the look I was looking for in my final website. Here are the screenshots below!
While not a perfect replica, it was still a very educational experience for me, who had never really coded before, aside from personal coding for fun websites on my own. So, getting the opportunity to make and fabricate a website for a fake non-profit that I would love to have actually exist was a lot of fun for me!
